Juwell McDougall is dedicated to contributing to the clinical social work profession through her own various research interests.
Mrs. McDougall’s experience involves training in military clinical social work, which included being awarded a full year of clinical training with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
Mrs. McDougall has additional training in understanding the disparities experienced by Ugandan parents of children with disabilities. This training included a full semester conducting published research with private and publicly funded disability rehabilitation centers in Uganda.
Mrs. McDougall currently holds an Associate Clinical Social Work license for state of California.
With an educational background in trauma-informed care, Mrs. McDougall has a master’s degree in social work with a focus in Military Clinical Social Work and a bachelor’s degree of social work with a focus in child welfare.
